- New lower premiums
- Choices of 14, 30, 60, 90 or 180-day elimination period
- Benefits paid up to age 65
- Benefits paid in addition to accumulated sick leave
- Benefits reduced by Worker's Compensation, pension and Social Security disability
Short Term Disability Plan
- Benefits paid up to five years for an accident, beginning on the first day
- Benefits paid up to two years for an illness, beginning on the eighth day
- Benefits paid in addition to accumulated sick leave
- No benefit reductions – benefits not reduced by any other income sources
Sick Leave Coordinated Plan

- Benefits based upon the number of sick days a member had at the beginning of disability
- Benefits payable for up to two school years
